James is the founder of McMahon Ventures, a New Orleans-based firm that partners with entrepreneurs and businesses to build and launch innovative software products. He has over 20 years of senior leadership experience across multiple industries and organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. James began his career as an Investment Associate at Shaw Capital where he led the due diligence and financial modeling efforts for $1B+ in energy and infrastructure investment opportunities. He later supported The Shaw Group's $3B merger with Chicago Bridge & Iron. James transitioned into the startup world and has co-founded and supported multiple new ventures developing software applications in various sectors.

James has been married to his wife Erica for 22 years. They have two children and live in New Orleans, LA.
